I gave my first talk in church today… well, more like my first testimony. I was sitting in l’ecole de dimache when I was asked to give a ‘message’ during ‘sen sen’ (sacrament meeting). I tried to play dumb, like I didn’t know what they were asking me to do… but in the end I said yes.

Almost all the men sat on one side of the room
while most of the women and children sat on the other side of the room . . . but note the one independent father there . . .
with a few daring couples sitting together in the middle. By the way, that is me sitting behind the Bishop . . .

Terri says I did well during my testimony/talk– at least she could understand me! I wasn’t very nervous after all… I guess that is a good sign that my French is getting better. Oui?
