Our Trip to Martinique

Last week Terri and I, with all of our St Martin missionaries, traveled to the island of Martinique for a Zone Conference with Elder Cornish, the Area President (who is on a mission tour with Pres. Herrington).

I have provided some pictures (totally out of order….) of our great trip!

All the St Martinites stayed at a hotel not far from the Martinique chapel where the Zone Conference would be held (Pres and Sister Herrington stayed there too). It had great views of the city and had really good food.

It was a great meal. It was French, so some of the missionaries were tasting things for the first time… IMG_4854 IMG_4855 IMG_4856 Elder Pohl just wasn’t quite sure if he liked some of the things (we shared) IMG_4858 IMG_4859 IMG_4861  IMG_4862

It was a great way to end a fabulous trip! The next morning was spent in interviews with Pres Herrington, and soon after we left for the airport to return to St Martin.

When I got home I found someone working on the roof of our apartment (running new cables for TV or something). I told him I was taking a ‘before’ picture, and that after he fell I could take an ‘after’ picture…
